NOTICE OF CHANGE IN COURTROOM HOURS AT PRETRIAL FACILITY

Pursuant to Government Code Section 68106, the Superior Court of California, County of
Tulare, is providing a sixty day notice of the Court's decision to change courtroom hours at
the Pretrial Facility. In an effort to promote efficiency and consistency in all court divisions,
the court finds it necessary to modify the courtroom hours of the Pretrial Division.
Currently, the Pretrial Facility Courtroom's hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding court
holidays and weekends. Effective July 3, 2017, the Tulare County Superior Court's Pretrial
Facility Courtroom hours will be as follows:
MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
8:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.
Any interested person or entity who wishes to comment may do so, in writing, by either

Tulare County Superior Court Warns of Jury Scam
The Tulare County Superior Court is warning the public of a phone scam after receiving reports of calls received
requesting money for failing to appear for jury service.
The Tulare County Superior Court does not make contact, nor do we authorize any outside agency, to contact individuals
via telephone to collect fines for failing to appear for jury service. If you receive such a call, you are advised to hang up and
not provide the caller with any personal information.
If you have questions regarding the legitimacy of a phone call you receive, you may contact the court at 559-730-5000, option 5.

Effective November 9, 2016, Proposition 64 legalizes specified personal use and cultivation of marijuana for adults 21 years of age or older; reduces criminal penalties for specified marijuana-re lated offenses for adults and juveniles; and authorizes resentencing or dismissal and sealing of prior, eligible marijuana-related convictions.Under Health & safety Code §11361.8, a person currently serving a sentence, or who has completed a sentence for a conviction of a violation of section 11357, 11358, 11359, and 11360 of the Health & Safety Code may be eligible to have the conviction reduced or re-designated as a misdemeanor or an infraction and resentenced, or dismissed as applicable.
